IEEE-USA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are working together again to put on another exciting webinar. During "The Small Business Administration and Innovation" webinar Max Summers of the Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Centers (SBTDC) State Director will discuss how he helps universities transform research into products that can be commercialized, and building innovation into companies. Also, Ann Herrmann-Nehdi, in her webinar "Creative Thinking and Innovation" will outline a framework for assessing your current approaches and provide specific methods for building creative and innovative thinking skills. IEEE Members Eligible for Discount on PnP Entrepreneurship Program
PlugandPlayTechCenter is offering a series of intensive, 4-day sessions designed to help newcomers to the Silicon Valley start-up community learn best practices and to discover how Silicon Valley works. The Plug and Play Entrepreneurship Program leverages the expertise of the community's more than 330 start-ups, top-tier venture capital firms and industry execs to gives attendees a leg up on the competition. To be considered for the program, all applicants must submit a business plan and an application by no later than 15 April. IEEE members who are accepted into the program are eligible to receive 15 percent off the regular price.

IEEE-USA Launches TechMatch Service for Entrepreneurs
IEEE-USA has teamed with Business Catapult to create a new online service that will allow entrepreneurs access to seasoned businesspersons who, at no charge, will help them improve their business plans. IEEE-USA TechMatch provides a detailed, automated assessment of the entrepreneur’s plans and objectives, and then a committee of experienced reviewers will provide sustained, customized feedback to help improve the submitted business plan prior to presentation to prospective investors. > more

IEEE-USA has launched Innovation Styles, a web-based evaluation, feedback, and coaching system designed to boost innovation for individuals, teams, and organizations. The Innovation Styles Profile (ISP) is a personal self-assessment that shows how you use the four different approaches to innovation and change. These insights will help you to optimize your innovativeness and improve how you work with your colleagues' varied innovative styles. IEEE-USA Salary Service, Member Version, Now Available Online
IEEE Members now can have free access to the latest version of a tool to benchmark their compensation at their current or prospective position. The IEEE-USA Salary Service, Member Version, uses a regression model based on data from the current year's Salary Survey to allow precise estimates of base pay and income from primary sources. To obtain free, unlimited access to the Salary Service, just go to http://salary.ieeeusa.org, log in using your IEEE Web Account, and complete the IEEE-USA Salary Survey. Once the Survey is submitted, you may log in again at the same site to use the Salary Calculator.
