Overview

Have you ever considered branching out and becoming an independent consultant? With the onset of COVID-19 and the ensuing job loss we believe more people are considering consulting. In addition to those IEEE members affected by COVID, there are over 3000 members in Regions 1-6 subscribed to our IEEE Consultants Network service. This shows that there is strong interest from members across IEEE in learning about becoming an independent consultant.

The Alliance of IEEE Consultants’ Networks Coordinating Committee’s (AICNCC) main way of educating IEEE members on consulting is through the establishment of local consultant networks/affinity groups. The presenter is 2014 IEEE-USA President Gary Blank. Over the years, Gary has participated in the start of several consultants networks. The webinar will focus on:

  • Getting Started/Gathering Support
  • Meeting Topics
  • Becoming an Affinity Group
