Overview

When the contractual terms of an open-source license are violated, copyright law protections — and possibly trademark law protections — are triggered. Fittingly, this webinar will begin with a brief overview of copyright law and trademark law, and then move on to a look at frequently used contractual terms in various open source licensing regimes, how those terms may be violated, and the possible consequences (including money damages and injunctions). This webinar will provide attendees with an overview of the legal consequences of using certain types of open source licenses.
