About the Presenter
Peter Weissman is a partner at the prestigious national law firm, Blank Rome, LLP, where he specializes in the worldwide protection of Intellectual Property (IP) including patents (ideas), trademarks (brands), designs, copyrights, and trade secrets. He advises startup and fortune 500 companies on IP procurement, growth, risk avoidance, infringement, litigation, and portfolio management; due diligence for acquisitions, transfers and funding; (University) technology transfer and licensing; and trade secret and copyright protection.
Peter previously served as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and is a regular speaker at various conferences and workshops on IP protection, and entrepreneurship.
