Each woman in this e-book, as in all of the IEEE-USA Women in Engineering e-books, is remarkable in her own way. Perhaps these examples of creativity and persistence in engineering are really those of diversity, and inclusion of mindsets that help define the society we live in. These outstanding women are certainly examples to follow–for both men and women–along the path to becoming current and future engineers and technologists. The narratives inspire one to take the roads less followed, only dreamt of, and never acted upon–no matter one’s gender, ethnic background, or sexuality.
