VOL. 8, NUM. 1 | 1st Quarter 2019

Happy New Year! We are delighted to provide you with your first quarter 2019 IEEE-USA Conference Brief newsletter.

In 2019, IEEE-USA continues to offer a valuable portfolio of co-sponsored conferences and exhibitions -- assembled over the past seven years -- intended to address diverse areas of policy and professionalism in IEEE's technical fields of interest. Do consider making a presentation at, or attending, some of them.

We often get emails asking why one of your favorite conferences is not in our calendar. Our IEEE-USA conference calendar only includes those conferences or events IEEE-USA co-sponsors, or where it exhibits. As always, if you know of a conference, seminar, or workshop you think IEEE-USA should consider co-sponsoring -- or if you have an idea for a new local or national event -- please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are looking forward to seeing you at these events!

Best regards,

Bob Parro (
Chair, IEEE-USA Conferences Committee

The IEEE-USA ConferenceBrief is produced quarterly by the team of Bob Parro, Georgia C. Stelluto and Greg Hill.
IEEE Conference Database

With more than 1,800 IEEE conferences each year, it may be difficult to find the right conference for your participation. IEEE has a search engine for all conferences that are registered with IEEE. Use the "Search Conferences" block on the left to search conference dates or calls for papers, using keywords. You can also narrow the search down to a particular IEEE Region or country.
Please note that until a conference fills out the IEEE Conference Exchange (ICX) registration form, and IEEE approves the organizational units that co-sponsor it, information about the event will not appear in the Conference Database.

The IEEE Green Technologies Conference was conceived to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: How do we provide the reliable energy demanded by an environmentally sensitive world, using energy resources in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner? Green and clean energy sources provide challenges to energy grid operators, requiring active management of available energy sources, to sustain a resilient power grid. The 11th Annual IEEE Green Technologies Conference seeks insights and encourages collaboration from the many disciplines and the industrial collaborators required to address these challenges. Early registration ends 6 March.
