About IEEE-USA’s Original Engineering Superhero Series
In March 2020, IEEE-USA introduced the world to the The Slate Twins: Caught in the Currents, our first digital and print comic book with electrical engineering superheroes, featuring technology both real and fantasy to help fuel imaginations and stimulate the minds of readers of any age. The following year, we launched the sequel, The Tesla Twins – Rescue at the Speed of Light, continuing the stories of our two young, electrical engineering superheroes.
Both comics were written and illustrated by Jeff Knurek, cartoonist of the syndicated Jumble puzzle, seen in newspapers around the world.
