Overview
Product and service development programs are overrunning and failing at an ever increasing rate. A primary cause is the failure to identify cost, schedule and performance issues before they become obvious later in development, and are costly and time-consuming to address. The analysis of hundreds of programs across commercial and government sectors and numerous industries including aerospace, IT, energy, automotive domains has revealed a set of common risks. These risks provide a comprehensive, repeatable and objective approach to program risk identification. Analysis results will be compared and contrasted with current risk identification methods.
