Swiss startup Rovenso is developing an autonomous robot that can detect and disinfect high-touch surfaces. Cofounder/CEO Thomas Estier and his team converted their existing highly mobile security robot into an autonomous, efficient coronavirus destroyer.
“ROVéo” maps its 3D environment with lidar, then focuses its UV-C disinfection system only on surfaces that are likely to be touched by humans.
